This is a rare four page advertising herald (flyer) promoting the Original Broadway production of COLE PORTER musical revue "WAKE UP AND DREAM!" at the Selwyn Theatre in New York City. (The production opened December 30th, 1929 and ran for 136 performances.) ..... The musical which introduced the standard, "What Is This Thing Called Love?" starred JACK BUCHANAN and featured JESSIE MATTHEWS, TILLY LOSCH, JEAN BARRY, DAVE FITZGIBBON, TINA MELLER and the GOMEZ TRIO ..... CONDITION: With the exception of small pieces of tape on the outside edges of the back cover (last scanned image) and a couple small creases on the front, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
