    Description

German style Bulgarian M36C World War II Helmet.
No stack marks, no dents, no cracks. Liner and chinstraps appear to be in new condition. Liner leather is soft and supple.
This helmet was reconditioned and reissued after World War 2 during the communist era. Paint is communist period olive drab.
Liner is marked size 57, but is more like a 56. The Bulgarians were notorious for being a size or two off.
Model 1936C was patterned after the German M35 helmet and were manufactured by Eisenhuttenwerk of Thale am Harz in Nazi Germany. Steel helmet shell was made in the 1930's. Other components circa 1950's.
