This is a rare August 23rd, 1948 playbill from the Princeton Drama Festival production of the GEORGE MANKER WATTERS and ARTHUR HOPKINS comedy "BURLESQUE" at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey. (The production opened December 25th, 1946 at New York's Belasco Theatre and ran for 439 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred BERT LAHR and featured FAY McKENZIE, PEGGY CASS (a full year and a half before she would make her Broadway debut), JOHN R.
