This is a rare March 21st, 1948 "Stagebill" playbill from the Post-Broadway engagement of the GEORGE MANKER WATTERS and ARTHUR HOPKINS comedy revival "BURLESQUE" at the Selwyn Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. (The production opened December 25th, 1946 at New York's Belasco Theatre and ran for 439 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred BERT LAHR and featured FAY McKENZIE, PEGGY CASS (a full year and a half before she would make her Broadway debut), ROBERT WEIL, ROSS HERTZ, NORMAN MORGAN, GAIL GARBER, DERBY ROGERS, BOBBY BARRY, CHARLES G.
