Beautiful Antique Victorian 9K Gold Filled Bar Pin

Description

This is a Lovely Antique Victorian 9K Gold Filled Bar Pin.
The pin has maximum dimensions of 2 1/4" x 5/8".  The ends of the pin are beautifully chased with floral designs.  The center has three faux gemstones, probably made from glass, in colors of ruby and blue topaz.  The brooch has a simple C clasp indicative of the age of brooch.
The bar pin is not marked.  The attribution of 9K gold filled in based on evaluation of the piece by our jeweler including examination under his microscope.  I had previously acid tested the bar pin with 10K test acid.  The test was not positive but the test did appear at first if it would be positive and the gold transfered to the stone disolved very slowly, unlike the behavior with a base metal.  From that test and the examination, our jeweler was confident that 9K gold filled is the correct identification of this piece and we will 100% guarantee your satisfaction in that regard as well as your overall satisfaction with your purchase of this lovely Victorian piece.
At the time of the original listing, this was one of a number listings being added for coin jewelry, commemorative medallions, Victorian jewelry, and several pieces of jewelry with crests and emblems, some with specific historical, fraternal affiliation, or similar, and others with no such attributions.
