This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the Original Broadway production of the JEROME WEIDMAN and HAROLD ROME musical comedy "I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE"
at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City
. (The show opened March 22nd, 1962 and ran for 300 performances.) ..... The production marked the Broadway debut of nineteen year-old BARBRA STREISAND as "Miss Marmelstein" and also included Streisand's future husband ELLIOTT GOULD. This single page, one-sided die-cut handbill measures 6" X 12" inches and includes excerpts from several New York reviews and ticket prices on the front. The backside is blank. (Please Note: No cast members are mentioned by name in the text of the handbill.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a fold across the middle and light creasing, this rare handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
