    I'm currently listing a large number of playbills representing some of the most memorable Broadway performances of the 1950's and 1960's ......... This is a rare March 22nd, 1962 PREMIERE PERFORMANCE playbill from the Original Broadway production of the JEROME WEIDMAN and HAROLD ROME musical comedy "I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE" at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City. (The production opened March 22nd, 1962 at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City, moved to the Broadway Theatre on October 1st, 1962 and ran for 300 performances.) ..... The production marked the Broadway debut of nineteen year-old BARBRA STREISAND as "Miss Marmelstein" and also included Streisand's future husband ELLIOTT GOULD. Other Cast members included LILLIAN ROTH, JACK KRUSCHEN, HAROLD LANG, KEN LE ROY, MARILYN COOPER, BAMBI LINN and SHEREE NORTH ..... DETAILS: The 38 page playbill measures 6" X 9" inches and includes full production credits, cast list, synopsis of scenes, list of musical numbers and bios of each of the leading actors but with the exception of the front cover, no cast photos. The playbill includes a full page ad for the Original Broadway Cast recording of "I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE" on Columbia Records (shown in the fifth scanned image) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing (top right corner and back cover) and minor edge wear, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or BARBRA STREISAND fan. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
