This is a rare autographed March 29th, 1954 "On Stage" playbill from the Post-Broadway engagement of the groundbreaking RICHARD RODGERS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II musical comedy "OKLAHOMA!" at the Opera House in Boston, Massachusetts. (The Original Broadway production opened March 31st, 1943 at the St. James Theatre in New York City and ran for 2212 performances. This 10th Anniversary revival opened August 31st, 1953 at the New York City Center Theatre and ran for a limited engagement of 40 performances before going on the road.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a corner crease at the bottom right and minor edge wear, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
