This Art Nouveau / Victorian period heart locket is really pretty cool. The cover to the locket swings instead of lifts. It is decorated with two dimension Griffin heads with swirling necks/bodies. The original photo rim is there and very intact but no glass or form of plastic cover. The pin hinge, pin stem & C clasp are all original. Pin stem has some wave and fits very tightly into the C clasp. The pin has no evidence of missing parts nor cracks or repairs. The front shows no dents. If you look at the backside you can see a tiny bit of un-even back rim at the top left curve and bottom right by the point. The gold fill is intact with no scratches/abrasions down to base metal but does show some difference in tone due to age. The heart measures 2" tall x a hair over 1 3/4" wide.
We are seniors and as my husband has health problems I try to only do errands, like Ebay shipping,on Tues. and Fridays.
