Antique/VTG Art Nouveau Victorian Carved Coral or Celluloid Rose Dress/Fur Clip

This listing is for a beautiful antique/vintage Victorian, Art Nouveau fur or dress clip. The clip is hinged. The clip is adorned with beautiful roses that appear to be carved coral, however, I think they are actually be carved or molded celluloid or possibly Bakelite. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the metal is brass. It looks to have been gold gilded at some point. There are bright gold areas directly beneath the roses, where the glue used to attach the flowers has protected the gold plating. It's very beautiful! I can just imagined how this must have looked back in the day, when it was new! This will make a fantastic addition to someone's collection of antique/vintage jewelry!
