When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business.
From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!
I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone Deco pieces and more.

This is a  antique/vintage Victorian Yellow Gold filled Purple "Amethyst" Stone Pin/Brooch.
It measures approx. 1 5/8"  x 1" .
I don't know if the stones are genuine or glass.
It has beautiful detailing and prong work.
