Brooch is very old, I was told it was from the 1920’s but could be earlier, came out of an estate of a home built in the 1880’s
Very unique brooch, not sure maybe it is a family crest?
Very well made, appears to be brass or bronze
Measures 2.25” inches tall
Has a old C clasp style hook on the back
Weight is 27.6 grams
