Antique Victorian Taille d’epargné Gold Filled Watch Pin/ Brooch

This is a great example of 1860s Taille d’epargné hand engraving and enameling. The Gold filled watch holder measures almost 1 1/16” tall. The front is in exceptional condition. The lush engraving captures the light with every move and sets off the black enamel geometric design. The reverse shows use. In particular the wear from a watch having been slid down to its hook.
