ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SASH BUCKLES
- Striking Victorian set of sash buckles with oval Mother of Pearl medallions. The pair are made from one of the early forms of molded plastic. The highly polished black buckles featured ornate gilt metal decoration on which the mother of pearl medallions rest. When you view the pictures you will see that each end has three small holes for sewing the buckles to a fabric sash. One buckle along with the center clasp can hang from a ribbon or necklace offering another option for using the set.
- Measurements; 5 1/2" X 2" or 14 X 6.5cm
- Condition-good, silver color has worn in some areas down to what appears to be brass. No breaks or cracks
