Antique Victorian Gold Filled Mourning Photo Pin Brooch Dated Roses Knoxville TN

Offered is an antique Victorian gold filled mourning brooch pin that measures 2 inches tall by just over 1.5" long from side to side at its largest point.  The piece is in great condition for its age...I see that the photo on the front of the pin shows some damage...This can be clearly seen in the pictures provided...I also see a small area of light scratches on one side of the pin (pic. # 5)...Minor wear is noted on the back side of the piece, where I also see that the brooch was once worn the other way...Evidence of a different pin mechanism are noted on the back of the pin...Please see all photos provided...Otherwise, I see no damages or concerns on the pin at all.  I see that the piece weighs 20 grams.  I also see an inscription on the back of the brooch that reads "R & L--To Mother--6-30-96".  The pin comes with a bit of black silk ribbon that was with it in an early Knoxville, Tennessee jewelry store called Tindells.  No Reserve.  Please don't hesitate to email with any questions.  Thanks and Good Luck.
