    Description

    This is a beautiful antique pin/brooch.  Although I'm not an expert, it has a "C" catch (bent metal shaped like the letter C and (I think) a tube hinge.  Please check the photos.  These were used from about 1850 to 1910.
    The stones are red - I don't know what they are made out of.  There are no markings that I could find on the piece.  There is a build up of material under the stones and in their settings also showing the age of the piece.
    A lovely pin that still works as intended.
