    Description

    Beautiful antique gilt sash pin from the Victorian era that features three purple paste stones. It's signed C & R which is the mark for Charles R Hettel. He founded his company in 1890 in St Louis. The brooch would have been worn to attach a sash to a dress or at the waist as a buckle. The stones are secure in the setting. The c-clasp works well. The brooch is in good antique condition with light wear to the finish from age and use. It is c. 1890-1898.
