    Antique Victorian Brooch Brass Sash Pin Yellow Glass Rhinestone Floral Design
    In the late Victorian and early Edwardian eras, large sash pins/brooches, often resembling buckles, were a popular item of wear. Fashionable women would copy Queen Victoria's style by wearing a sash from over their shoulder to their hip. Sash pins were used to fasten the sash at the hip. Common characteristics include thick pin stems in order to pass through several layers of fabric, and simple "C" clasps.
    This brooch has a stamped brass floral frame. At the center is a large, bezel set, oval glass rhinestone surrounded by a brass ruffle. It has a "C" clasp.
    Measures 2-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" high.
    The condition is very good with typical age discoloration. There are some very tiny flea bites on the stone.
