ANTIQUE NYOIL DISPLAY CASE WHALE OIL CAN COUNTRY STORE SHOW CASE NEW BEDFORD MA

Here we have an original late 1800's - early 1900's era ~ NYOIL ETCHED GLASS ADVERTISING - BEDFORD MASS WHALE OIL STORE DISPLAY CASE ~ we recently acquired out of an estate. PLEASE understand we are selling it as found from an estate. There is one side panel of glass cracked and the one side of the hinge the solder broke loose. The top lid is etched with the advertising on the inside. The gold paint has worn off but should be able to be put back since the letters are grooved in the glass " someone with more patience than me ". It measures approximately 9 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches deep by about 1 3/4 inches deep. I would imagine that this is a fairly rare advertising display case with very few that have survived.
