Antique Merricks Six cord Round Rotating spool- thread cabinet. Fantastic condition. Patented July 20, 1897. What can I say about this- that the pictures can’t do better? There aren’t any spools of thread- not much else to say about possible flaws. The glass is without chips or cracks. The wording is in excellent condition. The wood slats ( in that one spot ) have come a bit loose - or …( pictures show this) rotates as it should. The bottom feet are all sturdy. On both glass panels it says Merrick’s six cord soft finish spool cotton- then it has the numbers 20-24-24-30-30-30-36-36-40-40-40-40-50-50-50-60-60-60- 8-8-8-10-10-12-12-16-16-16-20. The cabinet is 20” tall plus 2” for the round ball feet. Plus 2” for the round knob on the top. 18” across. This is for pick up only. ( even though eBay has “ shipping policies listed” ) I would be willing to drive a couple hours to meet you for pick up.
