    Very unusual stylized flower pin that I would say is late Victorian on into Arts & Crafts period.
    There's a gold tone flower with textured petals and a red glass stone set in prongs.
    It's surrounded by a large curled or looped gold tone ribbon-like vine with ridges.
    Then, there is a flat scalloped V shaped piece mounted at the center. Old c catch.
    Very imaginative design; hand crafted, yet looks inpsired by the machine age.
    I think I'll call it early steam punk.
    Great used condition - brass has darkened with age, but still looks wonderful.
