Antique Desk for Clark's O.N.T. Spool Cotton thread, The Clark Thread Company, Newark, New Jersey, undated
Sits atop a custom stand: a wooden tray mounted to the top of an antique sewing machine treadle stand.
The desk is NOT attached to the stand. It is cradled in the tray and can be lifted out easily.
Condition is Pre-Owned.

I bought this beautiful spool desk in an auction back in the early 1990's in eastern North Carolina. The auction was the contents of a general store that had been locked up and untouched for many, many years. It was like opening a time capsule!
The desk is in really nice condition with o
riginal finish, product decals, desktop liner,
and inkwell.
The liner appears to be original.
The original drawer knobs were missing and have been replaced with wooden knobs.
Two splits were carefully glued, but no other improvements were made to the affected areas (see pictures).
I have not been able to find a reasonable shipping cost so I have listed this for "local pick up only".
