    Description

    This is an antique Damascene brooch recently purchased from an estate sale. It features a pair of repousse doves and a variety of flowers on a black enameled ground. The detailing is very good---not the fine etching on the wings of the bird.  It is set in a 24K gold plate frame with a machine etched design on the back. It has the old style trombone on the back.
    It measures 1 1/4" across and is not marked.
    Condition: Good.
