For your consideration is an Antique Brass Bracelet w/ Smokey Amethyst Glass and a very secure Trombone Clasp circa mid 1800’s. Truly unique. The wide bracelet band has significant gold loss but does not detract from this piece. The Smokey Amethyst glass is very securely attached and gives the illusion of “suspended animation” which is so unique to this bracelet. The front hinges are secure trombone style moveable hinges which allow the bracelet to open wide. Hammered decorative design panels are on each side of the glass as well as both sides of the closure. The bracelet is 3/4” wide with an 8” inner circumference. Please check the photos very carefully as they are a big part of the description. Please ask any questions you may have.
