    Description

    Gorgeous Art Nouveau brooch has a shield shape, but with lovely curved edges and an embossed floral design that follows the classic Nouveau flowing or fluid lines.
    The pin tests as 9K gold, probably filled or plated - not solid.
    Brooch is slightly curved.
    Some wear on finish - scuffing or pitting, but still has wonderful sheen.
    There is a C catch on the back and the pin stem seems to hang loose and doesn't stay inside the hook.
    Not sure, but you could have a jeweler adjust it - that's for the buyer to decide, or it could be worn upside down, I guess
