    This is a rare December 1974 playbill from the Broadway revival of the JULE STYNE and STEPHEN SONDHEIM musical comedy "GYPSY" at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. (Following a London run and an extended tour, the revival opened September 23rd, 1974 at the Winter Garden Theatre and ran for 120 performances.) ..... The musical starred ANGELA LANSBURY as "Mama Rose" (the role originated by ETHEL MERMAN in 1959) and featured REX ROBBINS, ZAN CHARISSE, MARY LOUISE WILSON, GLORIA ROSSI, MAUREEN MOORE, JOHN SHERIDAN, JOHN C. BECHER, SALLY COOKE, DENNY DILLON, LISA PELUSO, DON POTTER, ED RILEY, CHARLES RULE, RICHARD J. SABELLICO and BONNIE LANGFORD as "Baby June" ..... Side Note: This Broadway revival followed the Original London production at the Piccadilly Theatre where ANGELA LANSBURY created a sensation as "Mama Rose".
