This is a rare April 1972 playbill from the Theatre Company of Boston production of the DAVID RABE play "THE BASIC TRAINING OF PAVLO HUMMEL" at the Charles Theater in Boston, Massachusetts. (The production would arrive five years later on Broadway, opening April 24th, 1977 at the Longacre Theatre in New York City and running for 117 performances.) ..... The play starred AL PACINO (who would be honored in 1977 with the Tony Award for his role) and featured TOM BOWER, MATTHEW CHAIT, TISA CHANG, BURR DeBENNING, JAN EGLESON, STEVE EVETS, CLARENCE FELDER, MARC FRASIER, GARY HALCOTT, RONALD HUNTER, BRENT JENNINGS, GUSTAVE JOHNSON, JACK KEHOE, JOSEPHINE LANE, RICHARD LYNCH, ANDREA PETERSEN, CAROLYN PICKMAN, MARC SACHS, JAMES SPRUILL, JON TERRY and JOSEPH WILKINS .....
