    6 Vtg Chinese Painted / Bearded Opera Mask in Mounted Wall Hanging Display Case
    Up for sale is a very handsome vintage set / grouping of 6 hand painted Chinese opera masks with beards.  They are professionally mounted in a linen backed acrylic / lucite wall hanging display case or window box.  The masks are approx. 2.5 long from the top of their crown to the start of their beards.  Counting the beards they are approx. 7.25" long.  The case is 20.25" X 10.25 and it's 3.25" thick.  I purchased these at an estate auction just like this--I haven't handled the masks.  My guess is they are pottery.  Each is beautifully hand painted.  The masks are in excellent condition.  The frame has a few scratch marks but this looks great as you can hopefully tell in the photos.
