Nearly all solar charge controllers do not send a steady voltage/current to the batteries, but are pulsed; high power digital pulses are one of the worst EMI sources. These cables use suppression as a way of reducing noise. Suppression is relatively new and often the most effective method to reduce interference. This cable uses ferrite to take the EMI portion of the filtered spectrum and converts it to heat within the ferrite core and then dissipates it. The cables are also used with inverters to suppress the interference created by the inverter.
The rated voltage is 600V 45A. Protection grade IP68. Rating connecting capacity is 4mm squared.
