This paperback book was printed in 1940. Titled "Jim White's Own Story of the Discovery and History of Carlsbad Caverns". Jim White the guy that discovered the caves in 1901 tells his story of finding and exploring the caves. Book mostly old amazing photos. Most photos were hand tinted before they printed in the book. Has 17 photos, and a map of the caves. Story of Jim wandering the caves for 3 days, taking photos of the inside, having National Geographic investigate and what the caves are today (Meaning 1940). Some stats on the last page. 32 pages. As a bonus it has its original envelope it was in too. Measures about 7 x 10 inches. Gat collectible for the Carlsbad Caverns enthusiast.
